#MakeupMonday 7.9.12 – Bath Time Naturally

#MakeupMonday 9 July 2012

Today I’m sharing with you a few of my favorite natural bathing products. There are plenty of natural products I like and have even blogged about, however these are the ones that have been my favorites for some time that I’ve been using most recently.

Tuscan Blood Orange Natural Soap

Moisturizing, rich-lathering, sulfate-free and bio-degradable, Pacifica Natural Soaps are handmade with a proprietary vegetable-glycerin base, herbs and Pacifica’s signature perfume blends with essential and natural oils. Tantalizing and delicious in Tuscan Blood Orange, these are fresh, invigorating and clean. – PacificaPerfume.com

Blood Orange is one of my all time favorite scents, especially in lotions or soaps b/c they’re energizing & bold. They’re aroma is also pretty lasting for the most part. There’s pretty much nothing left to say about this soap bar, its simply delish & amaze! Nuff said! (; I won’t forget to mention it’s reasonably priced at $6.00 at most natural/organic stores such as Whole Foods or online directly.

Now for products from LUSH

Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly, Whoosh Shower Jelly, & I Love Juicy Shampoo

Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly

Our sweetest shower jelly is also our best-seller! Between the fruity fragrance, the iridescent glitter that leaves a sparkle on your skin, and the seaweed base that leaves your skin softened and refreshed, it’s irresistible. And while we know our blackcurrant and sour cherry wobbler smells good enough to eat, we recommend you curb your cravings and hop in the shower and wash with Sweetie Pie instead. Smooth it all over your body (and your hair too!) for a sweet yet sophisticated cleansing experience.
The Sweetie Pie shower jelly is just what you get, a sweet aroma reminiscent of a sweet delectable cherry & coconut pie or whip cream. Not quite sure how to describe the scent of this one except that it smells sweetly edible. This one is a great shower jelly for night time showers.  These jellies are not your typical bar of soap so they can be fun to use, most likely will slip & slide from or in your hand, all you do is carefully scoop some out of the little tub container it comes in. Sweetie Pie is available for $5.95 – $10.95.

Whoosh Shower Jelly

Looking for the drive to help you take on the world? Let Whoosh shower jelly sort out your cloudy, sleepy, head and give you a boost to wake you up. Our triple-citrus wobbly wash gets you squeaky clean with its invigorating and energizing blend of fresh lemon, lime, and grapefruit juices. And just in case your mental faculty is really struggling, we’ve thrown in revitalizing rosemary and balancing geranium to kick-start your senses even more. What are you waiting for? Rise and shine and get in the shower – the world is yours and the day awaits!

This shower jelly is seriously awakening. Great for morning showers thanks to it’s zesty lemon-esque aroma. Whoosh is found the LUSH store or online for $5.95 – $10.95.

I Love Juicy

You don’t have to battle oily locks by washing it excessively. You just need effective, deep cleansing ingredients. Start a love affair with the mighty fruit cocktail of I Love Juicy shampoo. Fresh fruit juices of pineapple, mango and kiwi are slightly acidic and help to mop up excess sebum (oil) produced by the scalp. With sea salt for volume and seaweed extract to soften you’re left with squeaky clean hair and scalp, unbelievable shine and touchably soft tresses. Oily hair? It’s a thing of the past.

I grabbed some of Lush’s I Love Juicy shampoo simply b/c it smelt soooo good. As you can probably tell by now, I really like fruity/citrusy scents. I Love Juicy was of the few Lush shampoos I liked, and it will leave your hair squeaky clean. You can buy this in 3 sizes prices ranging from $9.95 – $29.95.

These are free of parabens, and simply said, free of other harsh bad stuff you don’t want or even need…especially when you’re taking a shower/bath and your skin is breathing in everything you put on it.

If you have any question about natural products, what is paraben free, or what other products I recommend, please let me know! I like hearing from you guys!! (:
