my newest favorite closet item!

Hey guys! Sorry for the delay on posting up new blogs–finals week @ school!

Anywho, I’m sure most of you have this item in your closet already..if you don’t, I highly recommend getting one–a blazer! Definitely has to be one of my newest favorite staples that will make my outfits feel like new again.

Not only can you wear a blazer to work, but you can wear it fashionably anywhere anyday anytime, you just have to know how to wear it.

Here are a few pictures I found of Kristen Cavalleri pulling the blazer look just right.

Here Kristen is wearing the 3/4 rolled-up sleeve look black blazer, a simple black tank underneath, utoff distressed style shorts, paired off with a pair of gladiator type heels, her bag, a long simple necklace, & some Ray Bans (: Definitely seeing the chill SoCal style being pulled off very well. The outfit in itself looks very casual but the blazer really pulls it together.

In this 2nd look, Kristen decided to wear the same blazer with a striped dress, in my opinion giving it a nautical kind of feel. I really like this look as well. You could easily put a blazer with almost any kind of dress to give it that extra “fashion-forward” statement that also says “you didn’t try too hard”.

Kate Hudson fashionable in a white blazer

Last but not least, I decided to insert a picture of Kate Hudson, another celebrity pulling off a white blazer. The look is fairly easy to put together as you can see.
The blazer is a very hot look this Spring & There are so many different styles of blazers from the normal suit type blazer to the boyfriend style blazer, a cropped blazer… Anyone any shape, any size, tall short, or in between, can pull off the blazer look. Pretty much every clothing store out there (Macy’s, Forever21… to name a few) has different styles of blazers. Go try on the different styles and colors to find out which one you like best!
